another day, another destiny
I'm finally back in Raleigh. After some time at the beach and then in Sanford I was starting to get a little homesick.
I leave on the 14th.
The beach was great. Kareen came and that was extra nice. It all just didn't last long enough though. It stormed, thank God. I would have been sad if it hadn't rained just one day, and luckily I got to be right out there, beaten by the wind and ocean spray during a tropical storm, just like I've always wanted to. I wish I'd been brave enough to go all the way down to the beach. Next time.
I saw Pirates and was rather disappointed, well, very disappointed, but life goes on and I'm sure I'll buy it anyway.
After taking Kareen back to Chapel Hill I went by Beggars and Choosers and bought a $3 straw hat which I promptly made into a fabulous tricorn which I will most likely sell on eBay for as much as I can get for it.
I also bought a gold limoges demitasse which is so very presh and sitting on my bookcase at home.
I'm getting very sentimental about leaving my first home.
