Did I really look so desperate today that I deserved to get hit on by the produce boy at Harris Teeter?
Eh.
Yesterday was lovely, as is every day spent at the House. I didn't see Elizabeth as she was recovering from having her appendix removed, but everyone else was there as usual. Jeff has a beard and I didn't recognize him at first. I almost had to murder Roy with his own saber because "women don't need to be in charge of anything blah blah blah." Nothing has changed as you can see.
My favourite moment of the day happened when Jeff offered little Elizabeth some hard cider. After her inevitable refusal I suggested he wait until after she'd started college to pressure her. And don't ask me how, he goes on to say that yeah she'd find out about a lot of things in college and tells her what she needs to do is get a bunch of her friends and go to a strip club. Go Jeff! That comment was worth the look on her face alone.
And he still wants to marry me because of those cookies. Classic times.
Going home was nice. I got to spend some time with my mum and discuss some issues that have been bothering me lately. You'd think she'd figure it out about Jeremy, but she hasn't said anything.
I think I'm moving to London after Cincinnati. Signs seem to be pointing that way. From the mouth of my mother, "it's not too early to start thinking about it."
PS: After all these years someone finally knew the name of this song . . .
