1. I don't think I've known what true friendship is,until the point where you and I no longer trusted one another to speak candidly..about what was bothering each one of us in turn,then listening to the other vent their frustrations.
2. You were always a thorn in my side,even though you weren't aware of it. You pretended that we were friends,and that what I said mattered to you,yet in the end...you proved time and again,just how little I mattered to you,when you were surrounded by people who were part of the "old boys and girls network",that blinded you to what was really going on when your 'real friends' started to resurface.
3. There are two kinds of people in this world,those who accomplish great things,and those who live their whole lives wondering "what would things have been like if I had been a little [insert whatever it is you want here],instead of being afraid to [second random insertion point]." If I were to say that you belonged to the latter category,then I would be lying.
4. Trust and understanding is a two way street. You only took from me,and you rarely gave back what you took. I'm sorry you had to be that way,but its time you faced one simple little fact,'the past can hold you back,or it can set you free.' The former being possible if you dwell on things that no longer mean a hill of beans,the latter if you leave everything alone,and move on.
5. You never know what you've got until its gone. Thats something which you taught me to think about,from time to time...since everything ended between us.
6. Pointing out the suspected flaws in someone is something you are good at,yet you fail to see how that blinds you to what is going on right in front of your nose. Longer you sit in judgement of others,more out of touch with reality you become.
7. Why is it that everytime I try to stay mad at you,I can't? You've trusted me with things that bother you,I've done the same...guess we just have an idea of what people are really thinking I suppose.
8. People who think alike,are usually surrounded by a lot of other like minded people. Whats worse is how those close minded people start to emulate the actions of those others,and use that to further distance themselves from anyone who isn't "cool enough to hang with them anymore."
9. No one ever accomplished something by sitting on their backsides. Thats something you seem to be able to suspend,while coming away from a days work,knowing full well that you had other people to do your dirty work for you.
10. Keep your friend close,your enemies closer. Funny...how it seems that the only people that you associate with nowadays,are those who follow one simple little credo,a perversion of the truth known as 'guilty until we decide you are innocent.' You claim to hate that in people,yet you display the same thing you despise.
