Leave me a comment saying "Resistance is Futile." I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can satisfy my curiosity. Update your journal with the answers to the questions. Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.
My questions from
jlhill1. Tell me about your favorite webcomic?
I have to pick one? I think I am going to go with
Girl Genius. What would the world be like if mad scientists (called "sparks") were real? I have been an avid fan of Foglio's work since back when he drew for Dragon magazine back in the 80's. Richly detailed in drawing, character, and plot. Delicious.
I also like
Gunnerkrigg Court and
Dresden Codak for similar reasons.
2. What do you like best about your new car?
What is to like? It was underpowered even 23 years ago when new, it has all the mechanical ills of a 23 year old car, it doesn't like to start cold, it bogs and staggers until it has warmed up, the shocks are borderline as well as the brakes, the seats have 23 years worth of someone else's farts in them, it leaks water in and oil out, the radio and a/c are non-functional.
And yet, I smile every time I get in it. Even when it cranks and cranks and barely starts. Totally irrational.
3. What's your favorite part of your current job?
The commute is pretty nice...
I know it sounds silly, but I really like that the salary is large enough that we can (just barely) get by on one income. I think it is great that you are able to stay home with the girlies.
4. What book can you read over and over and still enjoy? Is there one?
I was rereading the Potter books for quite a while but I think I have burned out on them recently.
5. Dream vacation?
Someday I'd like to do a good long RV crawl across the country. Or perhaps a cruise. There was one that was advertised in Scientific American back when I subscribed. Each evening featured a lecture on a different scientific subject. (I am such a nerd)
