It wasn't the weather; I've got some bug.
Actually, seems to me, a bug I've had since March has flared up again.

Afternoon: 100.4

Isn't there "valley fever" or something in your region? Could that be it?

Noo..

This is the same thing that has plagued me since March 20th, when I first got sick. I remember the date because it was right after my mother died. I had spent the past week-and-a-half in andout the hospital and the nursing home, visiting her.
My theory is tht I picked up some stubborn infection of the type that flourish in such places.

(the lung cancer, apparently I've had longer than that, but its only symptom has been shortness of breath)

This thing is chills and fever, and coughing up this awful greenish phlegm. Nobody seems to believe me; they just say "It's because you have cancer!" and leave it at that.
Never mind that even a patient with cancer can get a respiratory infection on top of it.
Thing is, I'm supposed to start chemo this week, and you're not supposed to have chemo when you're already sick with something else.
Because chemotherapy will knock down your resistance to infections.

I hope you are able to get someone to address the cough. I agree with you that they should do something about that before the chemo starts. It just makes sense.
