oh, you know you asked for it

So...

I am having a wedding type dilemma. I need advice and help.

Yesterday, I spent the entire afternoon looking for shoes to wear with my wedding dress (http://www.christinesbridalboutique.com/davinci/8019.jpg) and found nothing. Orignally the plan was to wear flip-flops, since we're getting married here (http://www.cheekwood.org/garden/gardens/japanese/japanese.html) and it's outdoors and at sunset. E's wearing a nice but not formal tux, which I have no photo of.

So, last night I had a total freak out based on the five hours I spent looking for shoes (found none) and I realized that perhaps my dress was too fancy. I originally had wanted something more simple (for example: http://www.jcrew.com/images/newshots2004/main500/69219_WT0002_SU05_m.jpg) but this did not look good on me when I tried on dresses on May 11. Since then, I've lost 24 lbs (it's amazing how motivating looking fat in a wedding dress can be).

Here's the deal. The wedding is 2 months from today. I don't know what to do about my dress situation. Do I:

A) Say screw it-- wear some pretty shoes and wear the frou-frou dress and just say to hell with it?
B) Address the reality that the wedding is more casual than the dress
C) Realize that the poofier dress was chosen for a body-based reason and that a casual dress would make you look...bumpy...on your wedding day and just wear something that looks good, who cares if it is fancy?
D) Other.

Okay, friends. If you pick A and have a comfy (but pretty) shoe suggestion, hit me with it!
