Ok I am engaged!
It finally happened!
On Easter morning, Paul woke me up to see what the Easter Bunny had left me. Granted I was cracked out (my friend's bachelorette party the night before)and hadn't brushed my teeth yet- Paul still had me come out to see. Well, he hid easter eggs (the plastic kind with candy in them). He told me not to open them until I had all of them. There was an odd Gold one. It sounded like there was change in it (there was). I opened it and BAM there was a ring! It was Paul's grandmother's ring. She had three daughters and had a diamond for each of them and wore it as one ring. When she died, each daughter got a diamond. Paul's mom made it into an engagement ring for Paul to give his future wife. It was his college graduation gift. So he's had it for quite sometime.
It doesnt fit, so it is SMASHED onto my finger lol. We are resetting it as my anniverary gift this week. Today is our 2 year.
I was totally suprised and very excited!!
No dates and anything yet. We are saving for a house and a wedding is going to cost us up the butt. I want to do it next summer. If I can keep it under 5k, then I can do it I think.
