We're doing this exercise in my environmental education class where each student teaches a group of about 6 of their peers a lesson. Yesterday, our "teacher" read us a story and then told us to write a story like it, and gave us twenty minutes. I went behind a hill to try to get some quiet. I sat there and wrote, then waited and doodled. Then, I watched another group play a game. A few minutes later, I realized it'd been much longer than twenty minutes. So I walked around my island and found my group laughing and discussing. They had just finished discussing what they'd written, and then started talking about how she did. I still can't believe they left me! I can see one person forgetting me, but there was another four people in my group.
