According to the majority of the soldiers left in and around Edoras, Erkenbrand is in Mordor. They were rather co-operative too. Apparently one of their former leaders, Eowyn, was a somewhat feisty girl and they now cower at the mere mention of the term "Shieldmaiden". I'll have to find her and thank her one day.
Anyway, he's off conquering foreign lands. Which is just as well, cause now Helm can deal with him when he gets back and I can return to lazing around and criticizing him, as it should be.
