'Tis the season again and I'm hoping that you aren't feeling any despair at the moment as I dearly wish you to feel inspired. I made some requests and below you might find further explaining why I'm such a cruel person.
1. Figure skating RPF
Prompt: I'd like to see a fic where Yuzuru Hanyu receives mentoring from older skaters.
I'm hankering for a fic where Yuzuru Hanyu gets mentored by one or more of the older skaters. A humorous comedy of errors would be absolutely perfect but I'd also love a serious mentoring fic. Whether romance is in the air, is all up to you, dear mysterious writer. No need to wring out a relationship but also no need to kill anything that might develop on the page. All I ask is to keep Patrick Chan out of it entirely, please.
2. Legend of the Ice People - Sagaen om Isfolket
Prompt: I'd would love a fic where Marco falls for Tova and they actually hook up or a fic where Dominic has an erotic experience in one of his psychic dreams with one of his dream visitors.
I got such a perfect story from this fandom last year that one should think I'd be set up for life. But the Legend of the Ice People is so ripe for the picking when it comes to fic writing and I kind of want all the things and you should really treat this prompt as my explicit permission to write the Legend of the Ice People fic you have always wanted to write. But being a fic writer myself, I know that getting no prompt can possibly be very frustrating. Thus the prompts which I probably should feel bad about but since Isfolket is probably the main reason why I'm such a huge perv (on the internets) I refuse to feel any shame. As I said, I'd love to see a fic where Marco actually falls for Tova and they hook up, especially at some point where she's still kind of evil. And I'd love a fic where Dominic has an erotic experience in his psychic dreams with one of the people he talks to (the mega incest-loving perv in me would love some Dominic/Tarjei action). But if you have a better idea, please go for that. I know I'll love it.
3. American Horror Story
Prompt: I'd love me some exploration of Violet's and Tate's relationship - doesn't have to be sexual but it would be interesting to see more from Tate's point of view.
Uncharacteristically (or I like to think so) I'm loving Violet's and Tate's relationship. This is definitely a version of the 'girl with a supernatural boyfriend' trope I can get behind. If you are not into that, then I'd would be so up for a gennish fic revolving around Violet and perhaps her general dealings with the various past inhabitants of her house.
4. Husbands
Prompt: Brady has to go to an away game and Cheeks tags along. Hilarity ensues when they mingle with the other baseball players and their significant others.
Ok, all I can say I love how adorable Brady and Cheeks are. And all I want is more adorable fluffiness. Don't feel obliged in any way to stick to my prompt if it doesn't speak to you.
As for general fic likes, I'm easy to please really. I confess to be a bit of romantic as well as avid enjoyer of the racier sort of fanfic but I have an appreciation for most genres and writing styles. I'd rather want a writer being comfortable than bending backwards just to please me. Really, mostly I love a good piece of fanfiction. I suppose my somewhat defunct rec list might help you a bit.
I'm not easy to squick though I'd prefer it if all bloodplay is kept far away from me. I'm not keen on non-con (can read it under certain circumstances) and would prefer not to be tested with that in my gift fic. I don't really like kidfic (love it when kids are PoV characters but prefer not to read about the perils of parenthood and other such matters). Other than that, I don't think you need to worry much.
