(no subject)
i met this kid last night at the dc, an engineer major. i told him i was an english major specializing in creative writing, and he said "what? like, journalism?" and i said "no, well i can do journalism, but no. creative writing." he didn't understand what creative writing was, apparently. then he said what can i really do with my major except teaching and journalism and i said i don't know, i want to be published. and he said "what, like a book?" and i said "maybe" and then he said "it's kinda hard to do that." then i told him i didn't like him and i kept talking to ashley and alex.
spring is coming!!! and spring break is coming! i can't wait to go home, see my family (sincerely), my cats, dan, taylor, joanna newsom with taylor, marshfield, etc. and i was talking to my friend about our respective zines, and i was telling him i'm having trouble having faith in the stuff that i want to put in my zine. he said "don't," and then we made an informal pact to return from spring break with our zines done. so that's got to happen too, thankfully.
