I hung out with one of the families here in Belwood. We went up to their cabin on Lake James.
1) I got stranded with a few others on a boat in the middle of Lake James for several hours.
2) During those several hours, I incessantly heard the voice of Dave Chappelle in my head saying, "Lake Jaaames, Beee-itch!!!"
3) Lake James is where they filmed "Last of the Mohicans," a movie I have yet to see but now have a reason to.
Tonight I watched the Boston Pops fireworks extravaganza on TV.
1) For a show called "The Boston Pops Fireworks Extravaganza," there wasn't much of the Boston Pops.
2) They kept showing the conductor, whom I found relatively irritating. The guy is a complete tool.
FYI: Within our lifetime, Caucasians will be a minority in the United States. Hispanics, mostly Mexicans, will be the majority ethnic group. Manifest Destiny has a sense of irony.
