4: What are you studying/What are you working as: I've been working as a technical editor for more than three years now. Nearly four. whoa.
6. What are you listening to now/have listened to last: I listened to my iPod on the way to work.
7. What is particularly good/bad about my LJ: Good - The regular updates you provide about what's on your mind and what's going on in your life. I really ought to emulate that, if only for diary reasons.
Bad - I find your movie reviews hard to navigate. I'll skim them when you post'em, but there have been a few times I wanted to go back and reread a review I might half-recall from months past, but if that means digging in your movie tag for more than a page or two I usually don't bother. My inner librarian (so often expressed) craves a master list of reviews.
8. An interesting fact about you: Did I tell you I dyed my hair blue? Well, a streak of it. And it's now faded to more of a pale green.
9. Are you in love/have a crush at the moment: Still knockin' boots, and semi regularly. We saw each other every weekend in May, haven't been able to visit at all in June, have two weekends booked for July, and just finalized a group vacation in August.
11. Favorite lyric: I spend terribly little time thinking about music, to be honest.
12. Best time of the year: Autumn. Love it. The leaves, the colors, the chill in the air, the harvest, the food, Halloween.
13. Weirdest food you like: I'm... torn between answering 'cheap over-processed Kraft mac and cheese,' properly modified with good food additives,♣ and 'pepper-ginger cookies' because I never found any one else that enjoys eating them.
♣ Good food additives hereby mean at least twice the butter called for in the recipe, cream or at least whole milk, a double handful of shredded real cheese to melt in the sauce, a good portion of ground pepper, and handful or two of something else. Dried tomatoes and/or shredded prosciutto. I really should just starting making the cheese sauce from scratch.
RECOMMEND 1b. A film: A Passion in the Desert, because I think the artistry of it would appeal to you.
2b. A book: Hogfather, because I think you could use some humor in your life and this is my favorite of Pratchett's books. Plus, it was made into a movie and you can watch it if you are not in the mood for reading. (Or maybe Night Watch.)
