On montages...my life as
I think my life right now would be fertile ground for a really kick ass montage. Possibly set to "Do it Again" by the Kinks.
Scene: I'm at the audition, I get the part, I'm excited and I call Kayce and tell her about it
Cut to: me in front of Center Stage, walking in to the first rehearsal, music starts.
Shot: I show up at Center stage and meet people, shake hands
Cut to: Doing sword fighting stuff
cut to: being shown the apt
cut to: more rehearsal, me with the script in my hand taking notes
cut to: driving home, trying to cram a few hours with Kayce in
cut to: more rehearsal, different scene, working different ideas
cut to: stuck in traffic in Baltimore, checking the time
cut to: dinner with cast mates, hanging out, chatting, laughing at some unheard joke
cut to: me on the street trying to remember which apartment was mine
cut to: Working the fight scene, getting notes, building up to speed
cut to: me passing out in bed
cut to: more rehearsal, joking around with cast mates, screwing up a scene and fixing it (because every good montage has the character messing up and being corrected)
Cut to: taking a shower
cut to: Walking the fight again and again and again and getting it right and making it better and better.
cut to: a high five with the cast, music fades out, people are laughing.
I tell ya, life would be much cooler with montages and soundtracks. And slow motion, when cool shit happens.
