my place
So, I've moved into my place. It's nice, I'm so happy to have my desk and mattress...and god I had the best sleep last night!! And I've been working at my desk when I'm not laying on my bed...mmmm...my room!! There's still some things to be done, they haven't finished painting a wall near my bathroom, nor have they put in a bathroom mirror or caulking, and there's no door siding at my doors and no bar and shelf for my closet. It's stupid little things, but I don't like the idea with my stuff being unpacked and people coming in my room to fix everything...which means I'm going to have to carry my computer with me everywhere.
That, and there are workers in the house constantly not only to finish all the rooms, but to put in the kitchen today and other things. I'm kind of on edge right now, I mean...hello...Richmond...sketchy people...they're in the house right now working, and they're coming up the stairs to go into the other rooms, but still, creepy.
I'm done with my design portfolio and I'm going to finish printing my English 200 portfolio, I didn't do any figure drawing (go me) because god damn it it's the end of the year and I've just moved in so...lots of hoopla to deal with, kind of sucks though, moving in during finals, but I have my desk and mattress...I have my desk and mattress........:)
It's really nice here in the day, I've got really nice windows, but at night it gets really creepy. There's a big burn patch at the front of the building...I wonder if anyone got caught in the fire.
