If you post-date an entry in a community, it apparently won't stay at the top. Anyway to do that? Make a sort of sticky entry ( Read more... )

You can't do postdating or backdating in community entries, alas.

You can do postdating, just not backdating. Woe. I expected (and wanted, argh) the post-dated thing to stay at the top, but the next entry showed up above it. *kicks it*

Hmm. If the comm had a paid account, with certain layouts you can create a sticky entry. Oh, I think even with free accounts you can do that if it has an Expressive layout.

This is why I keep you on the payroll. I should've just been all, "Foxx, how do you..."

I'll look into Expressive tomorrow and report my findings. *puts on miner hat*

*ponders whether it's worth paying for a paid account just so I can have a sticky*

With a paid account, I can do that with Flexible Squares, Smooth Sailing and maybe Generator. I think you might be able to manage it in Expressive with a free account now, which is always nice.

I don't know much about Xvid, but this codec pack has solved many an audio/visual woe for me in the past.
