Still here! Still doing too much unpaid work, and figuring out how to extract myself a little further without burning bridges or getting thrown under the bus. There's a mini-retreat tonight, and I think the talking point (diverging from mission) is a straw man, so it should be interesting. Have had some offers/headhunters, but nothing tempting enough to have me completely re-focus (either more hours than I can balance, very long commute, different field than I'm looking for even if I"m qualified) but good that my name is out there, I suppose.
But things remain good at home due to a kick-ass husband, kids, and friends. Have a couple of surprise visits (interestingly, two friends who don't even know each other, but both from Colorado) that should be a distraction, even with busyness.
Hope to have things ease up and balance out early November.
