There is a guy who works in the lab storeroom[in first month, i don't even knows where he works in the facility].
I think we started working around the same time. About 2 months plus and I have yet to know his name.
The encounters with him are weird. I thought he was serious, unsociable kind of person.
I think throughout the first month of working at the lab, I encountered him a few times. If our eyes met, we would just stare at each other and look away, no hi,bye or even a smile or nod of the head to acknowledge each other.
i 'officially' encounter him at the storeroom when i wanted to get some stuffs with Iz- dont get me started on him-. Yet, we were not introduced to each other.
Then comes the second month,that is when we see each other and the small smile appears. I couldn't figure the word to describe him till yesterday,when Ge mentioned "lonely". That was when i thinked about it. I realised that yes,apart from his co worker ~the crazy funny malay uncle and makciks from packing. he isn't hanging around with people his age. I then texted gene about asking him to join us for lunch... she said fine but she hope it won't be awkward in case we don`t have a common interest to chat about...
well, this is awkward but i have not talked to him before nor have we introduced ourselves...
so this morning, hoping to run into him to ask him to have lunch but he comes in later than all of us.
so we did not eat lunch but... at end of day as we were walikng out, we saw him at his bike and i suggested that we say bye to him... Ge said she will if i said it first, so yea, i did and boy the smile on his face was priceless!
hope that i will get to talk to him again.hope this time round, a friend who will stay for good.
