Summer's almost here, and I don't seem to have anything set up to do in the summer. skuldnoshinpu sometimes complains about how he doesn't get any breaks, but the upside to that is that he doesn't have to scramble every summer to figure out how to get money for the three months.
The problem is that the summer teaching I've done for the past two summers had no open positions this year, and every job or position on campus I can find requires you to be an undergraduate, or to commit to a longer term than just the summer (which I cannot do because of the fellowship I have starting in September).
So it looks like I may just have to live off my savings for this summer; not impossible, but it wouldn't have been my first choice. I have a fair amount of projects, reading, and research I can be working on over the summer so I won't just be sitting around watching TV, but I would have preferred to make some money as well.
