I don't know if there's any connection, but somehow since I sang that multi-hour endless set last weekend, my jaw has felt out of alignment and somewhat sore (if I try to sing again it almost immediately hurts). I'm also having some trouble swallowing, and dry mouth.

Apparently this could be something called TMJ disorder; according to medical web sites some other symptoms of that are neck, shoulder, and arm pain (which sounds familiar), as well as some other things that I have on occasion (pain or pressure behind eyes, soreness in ears with no infection, sinus-like headaches with no sinus problems, and minor gum wearing). On the other hand, I've never heard any popping, cracking, or grinding in the joints, and I've never had any problems with the jaw before this.

I was already scheduled for a visit to a specialist next week about the shoulder pain, so I'll mention the jaw thing and see what he thinks.
