[the sims] Lost sites website
I opened a new forum today. Yay me and websites I'll never keep going. Which is why the forum is SUCH a great idea. I don't have to do all the work myself.
Sim Neverland is an invisionfree forum with one specific purpose. Much like aarinfantasy's host links section, we gather the remaining scraps of custom content left over from wonderful sites that have fallen off the face of the net, and make them available for download (via mediafire/mega-uplaod/sendspace mirrors where we don't have any bandwidth issues).
Example: Danicast sims 2 has the most wonderful Alien Politech Default replacement I have EVER SEEN. I love it to death. But her site is down, and even her MTS2 profile doesn't list any content (even though it used to). What does this mean? Havesometea.net and Danicastsims2 are gone. But her files were Free2Share...that means we can share them...if we have them.
So that's exactly what I did. I gathered up the files I had that were from her site, and put them up on Sims Neverland, in a topic titled "Dani Cast Sims 2", where anyone who needs them can download them. Yay.
Now, I only hope this idea catches on....
