Lovely interviews
The life of an super idol and university student wasn't easy, or so Kato Shigeaki thought as he slumped into the NEWS dressing room, grabbing a few magazines that were spread out of him there.
The manager had neatly spread them out there for the members to pick up, totally in style of Valentines Day with interviews that were supposed to improve their member-ai.
With a slight grin on his face Shige flipped through the magazines, smiling at the cozy answers his members gave towards the interviewers. Once he opened a familiar looking Myojo his face split open in a smile. In this particular issue they had gotten questions from their fans, and as far as he had been concerned, there hadn't been any lovey-dovey questions in it, but yet it had been a nice interview to do. That's why he was eager to know what was it, that this issue had made it to the 'member-ai-magazine-stack.'
Almost automatically he opened at Koyama's page, because he was the member that squeezed out the most member-ai from the most simple questions, but reading trough his page, he saw nothing that made him particulary think, "yeah, that's our real member ai."
After flipping trough the pages of Tegoshi, Yamashita-kun and even Nishikido-kun the only pages left were his and Massu's.
As for his own page he was pretty sure it was nothing he had said, simply because he wasn't the type to say anything love-ish about the NEWS members. Apart from Koyama maybe, but the slender male asked for it, so he skipped to Massu's page and started reading.
"The little brother is Tegoshi. . which means Shige is my lover?! (laugh) Well, Shige talks a lot so it seems like we could have fun talking though.
Shige's eyes widened in surpirse. Massu?! He?! The lover?! He didn't know whether to laugh or cry at it. It was kind of absurt. He was sure it was all innocent and all, but yet the thought of it brought weird mind-images to him.
In which Nishikido was his stern father in law, Pi insisted they'd visit the family at least once a week because the fact that Massu now was dating someone didn't mean he could forget where he came from, and in which Koyama and Tegoshi tried to test him if he was worthy enough for their sister. Yes. Sister. Because there was Massu. In a dress. Not a pretty sight, and for a second he felt how Shoon must have felt in their many 'DARLING'-skits.
At that exact moment the gyoza-lover barged in, happily exclaiming, "HIII SHIGE! GOOD MORNING!"
"Good morning Massu," he muttered back as he shoved the magazines away and scurried over to the coffee machine and fiddled with it for a while.
It didn't take long for Massu to start of a conversation with him (because there was no one else to talk to), about coffee and the importance of good beans. Shige joined in, and after a while the two of them had made a stupid conclusions about the even worse subject. It was massu who started out with another subject, and soon the dressing room filled with laughter of the 2 man.
Shige smiled as he listened at Massu's happy-talk.
They might have not been lovers, but Massu had been right indeed. They sure had fun talking.

Sorry. It's not that good, but after reading this interview, I just HAD to write some Masshige. Just because I thought Massu's answer was adorable, and I TOTALLY pictured Shige's face when he'd read he's the lover in Massy's family. So yeah. XD
