“Yuya!...” that was unexpected. Yuya is already that far from the stage for Daiki not to see the guy but since he’s someone that Daiki could never be wrong once seen on the crowd, Ryosuke’s plan got busted.

“Why is he here?...” the immediate question of Daiki’s mother right away. She never expects seeing Yuya in the crowd. And this isn’t in the plan at all. Yuya should be already away from their family but why until now that guy is still sticking up his nose on Daiki’s matter. “Hikaru!...” he called the guy and Hikaru frighteningly bowed a head at her. “Bring him out…”

“Why?...” Daiki got teary right away. He never thought of her to be that cold to his once so nice and kind big brother. “I want him here!...’

“He’s not a part of your party…” said by his father and that makes Daiki suspicious.

“His my big brother!...” he argued but Yuya and Ryosuke was dragged out of his sight. It was done forcefully and hurtfully that he can see from his brother’s eyes the pain and the hate about it. “Don’t hurt him! Don’t hurt him! Let him go!...” he yelled, running as he goes down the stage then into the crowd to reach on Yuya before the latter could be drag out the door.

But Yuya wasn’t happy about it. The moment Daiki gripped on him, he shoved the boy straight on the floor right away. Daiki went stumbling like a frail little puppy instantly and that makes everyone in the room to get angry.

“How dare he to push young master like that!...” yelled by everybody in a not so simultaneous manner.

“Get him!...” ordered by the Right Hand Man to his men. But Ryosuke battled with it. He doesn’t want anyone to hurt the son of his long begotten master.

“Run!...” Ryosuke yelled at Yuya but the latter isn’t listening at him. He’s trying his best to push and to kick anyone who will lay a single finger at the guy but Yuya isn’t appreciating it. Instead, the guy is just there looking at the poor little crying lad at the floor with face so angry that Yuya could now kill anyone inside the room if given a gun to be used right now. “Damn it Yuya! I said run!...” he told the guy again and that’s when Yuya noticed how heated the place is now already to kill him any moment.

“Yuya…” But Daiki’s weeping voice is much louder than any of it. Even the surroundings is now so noisy, Yuya can’t help not to hear the painful cry of his beloved brother. “Why did you push me?...”

How he wish he could answer it and how he wish he could kneel down right now to hug Daiki on his arms and to tell the boy how sorry he was on doing that push but the face of his dying mother and the agony of his dying father appeared on his thoughts. He can’t just ignore his past just because he loves Daiki so much. He just can’t act like he had long forgotten that incident already because Daiki is already that dear to him. And he can’t just stand there, giving Daiki a pity if Daiki wasn’t that pitiful also to knock off both of his parents at that time. “How dare you…” he said and that makes Daiki wonder why he is so mad suddenly. “I will surely kill you sooner…”

“What?...” Daiki went confused. He got no idea why Yuya is telling him those. He can’t even understand why everyone is so angry at Yuya right now. And he can’t fathom why he is having this kind of birthday party also. “I did nothing wrong at you? I only make you jealous? Why are you so angry at me?...”

“Why don’t you remember it? For sure, you know it more than me…” that was his last words before he was pulled out by someone from his back. It was fast that he wasn’t able to know how he was able to survive the maddening crowd that are about to knock him off at that very moment.

“Are you crazy!...” said by the man while driving the car away from the venue of the party. “You’re getting yourselves killed!...”

“I just wanted Yuya to see the fact…” Ryosuke replied. He’s sitting at the backseat with face colored with too many bruises which are obviously from the punches that maddening people had given to him at the party. “It’s the only way I know for him to help us…”

“How could you?!...” he plucked out the bunny hanged at the center mirror to throw it straight at the face of the guy who doesn’t even think how dangerous the idea is of going there unprepared. “You two charged there half cocked and you almost get young master killed but thank God! Someone called me and I was there right away to pluck your asses out the party! Meaning if I wasn’t there on time to save you two, right now you’re nothing but butchered chicken inside the oven!...”

“Park the car…” Yuya demanded out of the blue and the man on the wheel kicked the brake to look at him. He opened the door to step out and to walk a little away from the car. And when he starts remembering how Daiki looks just after they left the party, he shouted hysterically at the top of his lungs, letting out all of the pain and hatred he had inside while ignoring everything around him. He repeated that shout again and again until he kneels down on the road to cry and cry.

“Should I bring him back here?...” asked by the man on the wheel. He’s watching Yuya with great sympathy. He knows after all how hard it is for the boy to live like hell before and to know more of it right now.

“Give him time…” Ryosuke said while sighing in great despair. Right now, they can’t do anything for Yuya other than to let the guy exhaust the feeling of being damned all this time.

“Why aren’t you invited at the party?...” the man asked his pathetic son. He’s disappointed because he thought he could finally have that chance to mingle with the Big Boss of the underground organization. But Kei is useless. It looks like using his son this time was the greatest mistake he did all his life. “Can you explain to me why can’t you get his heart?...”

“He’s a guy Dad and I can’t just tell his heart to like me right away…”

“Shut up!...” he slapped his boy on the cheek. “I’ve heard he likes you then why can’t he invite you? Are you now getting ugly? Why can’t you make him fall for you?...”

“DAD! I’m a guy and I like girls! I can even have sex all day I want as long it’s a girl but I can’t imagine myself fucking him just because you wanted it to happen!...” Another slap ensued and it falls on the other part of his cheek. It’s painful of course but enduring it is all he can do. He can’t after all raise a fist at his father face. He will be out casted for sure if that happens.

“Are you now disobeying me?...”

“No…” he muttered.

“Then why are you raising your voice?!...”

“Because this is already unreasonable! I did everything Dad! I even gave those important things of mine to him. I even let him know how much I love him even though I’m already lying to myself and I even kiss him, hug him and almost fuck him but he seems not to like me! Actually, it was like he’s using me against his brother!...”

“Against his brother?...”

“Yes, Dad! Against his brother but they aren’t biologically related…”

“Meaning?...”

“I don’t know…”

“You don’t know?!...” he slapped his son again and it brought tears on Kei’s eyes this time but he doesn’t care because for him Kei is so wrong just now and he is always right. “I raised you not to be dumb and now you’re telling me you don’t know even though by just telling it to me right now I can understand it already?!...”

“What?...”

“Idiot! They aren’t biologically related which means they are somehow attracted to each other!...”

“But they’re brothers…” he reasoned out.

“That’s why? Because they’ve been together for a long time, feelings will develop easily dimwit!...”

“NO!...” Daiki threw more tantrums this time while breaking everything he could see around him. “I don’t want this life! I don’t want to be like this! All I want is Yuya!...”

“But he can’t be with you anymore…” explained by his surrogate mother, the one whom he grew up with. “You are the heir of this organization and you should be honor with that…”

“I never wished or dreamed about this!...”

“But this is your fate…” reasoned out by his surrogate father, the one he thought to be his real father all this time. “We’re so sorry that we lied to you but it’s all because we care about you…”

“If you care about me then you could have told me already! Why do I have to be the son of that old dying man?!...”

“Because you are born that way…” replied by the man that was wheeled by the nurse inside the room. He’s really old just like what Daiki had said and yes, he looks like dying already. But his voice and his face is full of strength that Daiki had sense fear right away. “I was exactly like that Daiki when the first time I knew about my real self and of course about the organization but I learned to accept it later and I know you’ll be like that also…”

“NO!...” Daiki pouted angrily. “Even you’ll die and even I’ll be reborn again, I will never accept this! NEVER!...”

“It’s ok for you to say that for now but starting this day onward, you’ve got no choice but to face what’s ahead of you…”

“And what?...” he glared. “Listen to your advice? I will never ever consider you as my mentor!...”

“It’s ok Daiki. I’m not expecting after all for you to see me that way because I’m your father…”

“NO!...” he stomped his foot. “You’re not my father. I don’t have a father! And I don’t want you to be my father!...”

“Then I’ll try my best to make you accept me…”

“That will never happen…”

“That will happen for sure…”

“What are you doing here?...” Kei glared angrily at Kota when just after he had a fight with his father, the guy’s face was the first thing he saw next. “Aren’t you going to run away right now? Leave this company and find ways to bring it down?...”

“I’m on my way to that but before that I have something to tell you…”

“Heck!...” he slapped Kota on the cheek, just like how he was slapped by his father many times. “You have nothing to say to me so go away…”

“I save your ass many times Kei…”

“I don’t remember any of it…” he flouted, now about to leave to find something he could beat up just to exhaust the feeling of being beaten up also inside his father’s office.

“That is because you never knew…”

“Will you stop talking to me?...” he growled maddeningly. “Try saying one more word and I’ll turn you into my punching bag today!...”

“I love you…”

That makes his heart stop for a second. Just now, he feels like it’s his first time hearing something that was so gentle, so kind and so nice that he can’t help not to think that all this time no one seems to love him dearly except Kota who is always there to tail his back, to clean his room, to help him out and to listen to all of his life’s problem. Yes, only Kota understands him but he will always keep that cold shoulder whenever he’s around the guy. “Don’t expect me to reply something nice to that…”

“It’s ok…” Kota knew it after all. Kei is never that kind to him even once. “I’ll just be your punching bag today…”

“Get lost…” he snarled and then he walks fast until he left the place with a heavy sigh. After that, he grabs some beer to drift himself on places where he could find peace for the moment. “Pathetic…” he sighed when he finally realized that his all alone all this time. He groaned when he finally see the ugly side of his life. He wept when he now understand the filth that Kota had told him before. He should had left his home, he should had find a new life, and he should had live with no drugs, beers and annoying parents on his side. He should have been orphan instead if he just knew this will all happen to him in the end.

A/N: Sad chapter.

Additional notes: Thanks for greeting me on my birthday! Actually I've been waiting if how many friends were there to greet me on my cellphone. Quite disappointed to see a few of them only. Those who are so dear to me are the just the ones who greeted me but after seeing my inbox in LJ, I said, "Waaaaa! they're so many!..." I went teary right away.
