Y E A H ! ! ! ! !
Well.... 7 months of unemployment are finally over for me.
I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!
Can even begin to describe how happy and relieved I am.
Mainly for the fact that in a week, I would of had to start work for the dole. *shudder*
So haha, I'm not a dole bulger anymore. I don't have to deal with Centerlink anymore (hopefully)
I can buy all the things I've been needed (like clothes) and all the thing I've wanted (like DVDs) for 7 months.
Lucky thing is.... like 6 DVDs I want are being released in 2 weeks or so.
This time I might actually be able to buy them all within 2 or 3 weeks.... Instead of like 2-3 months if I was on the dole.
So yeah, the job is at Gowings, in Wynard, Monday - Friday, 9 to 5 I believe, through that could change. But what's really cool is that I'm a full time, so I get all the benefits like sick pay and hoilday pay.
Plus my job is to order the casuals around. *muahahaaha* I'm so going to enjoy that. ^_____^
The really funny thing is that it all happened so quickly and so weirdly.
I was eating my lunch at Maccas (because I was broke and need cash out) on Thursday before meeting with Ili, Row and Mark to go see the Ghibi movies, when I got the call for the interview.
Went to the interview the next morning... after only having like 4 hours sleep, and was almost late.
Then today, I'm on the bus on my way home from Parramatta and Gowings call me to say I've got the job. The stars were shining on me this last week.
I also got another interview for Starbucks that was going to be today at 3pm, got the call for that yesterday... I actually had to call the place up today and cancel my interview :)
Oh well, didn't really want that job anyway... I don't even like coffee ^_^
But I so wanted the Gowings one, and I've got it.
Plus it's in the city.... and I love the city, even through Wynard is a little far from Pitt st mall and all the other Anime shops in Sydney (too far to go during lunch breaks) but I can still pop in after work and on Thursday nights.
Yeah!
So yeah.... I start on Monday.
