Teleport cookies. Teleport cookies. "THIS ISN'T FUNNY!" Netto shouted, banging on the door to the room that the Nexus had deposited him in. "SOMEBODY LET ME OUT OF HERE!"

Unfortunately, there was no answer. Netto kicked the door in frustration.

After a short moment another Netto appeared! She was just swallowing the last bit of her cookie and blinked seeing where she was.

"What?" She slowly looked around, "Where are we?"

Netto jumped at suddenly having someone else in the room, but even the surprise of seeing his alternate wasn't enough to get rid of his anger. "I don't know, but the door's locked and we're stuck in here. Please tell me you got here by eating a cookie and that you have another one."

Netto blinked and made a face. "I was just about to snatch up another cookie when I found myself here."

She walked over to the door and tried to open it. First by pulling, then by pushing. No luck. Netto let out a whine and kicked the door, "What kind of dumb joke is this?"

"I don't know, but it's not funny," Netto said sulkily. He sat down and folded his arms, resting the elbows on his knees, and scowled. Still, he was feeling just a smidge better. You know what they say about misery and company.

She watched her alternate for a moment and then looked back at the door. She cupped her hands around her mouth and place them against the door.

"HELLO! Is anyone out there who could let us OUT?!" When there came no answer, Netto turned her head and placed her ear against the door to try and hear if anyone was on the side.

"Do you think this is an LOL and will ware off after some time?"

That actually wasn't a possibility he had considered. Netto lifted his head and thought about it. "Maybe," he finally concluded. "I hope so. Maybe we should wait for a bit before trying the door again. If you're right, the LOL might wear off. If not, maybe someone will be close enough to hear us."

Netto turned away from the door and took a seat on the floor. That was a good idea.

"Okay!" She smiled brightly at the other Netto, "What things should we talk about? What is it like where you live? Enzan kind of tells me some things."

The mention of Enzan reminded Netto of just which alternate of his this was and what she and Enzan did with each other. Netto shifted uncomfortably. Awkward...

"A lot of it's probably the same as for you," he said. Except I don't date Enzan! "I live with Mama and Papa and Saito - ah, that's Rockman - but there's also Dark Rock and En-san and Laika. Their Searchman and Blues, too. What about you?"

"I live with Mama and Papa too. And I have Rock-chan and then Meiru lives next door. I usually hang out with her and sometimes Yaito."

She tilted her head, Reality Vanish seemed pretty different to her, but really was it the same? "Is school the same?"

"No. It's different. Different teachers, different organization, different classes. Well, some of the classes are like the ones I took back in my world, but there's different kids in 'em."

He sighed and rested his chin on his arms. "I don't see Meiru anymore, and I only see Yaito sometimes." Maybe Reality Vanish wasn't so similar after all. He was suddenly hit with a pang of longing for his old universe.

"I'm sorry." She could sense that Netto was starting to feel a little down about it, "But different kids me new friends you can make!"

Nett perked up quickly, "There is that right? I wish I could say that. I look forward to getting older and going to another school soon and meet other kids possibly from a little further out around the area."

"I guess," Netto said. Truth be told, he hadn't really made any close friends in his new classes. Oh, he had friends. People liked him, and he got along well with them, but he just didn't really want to hang out with any of them like he had with his old friends. He didn't stop to think about why that might be.

Then he gave Netto-chan a Look. "Including boys?" he asked.

Netto brought her knees up to her chest, she started to focus on her shoes, playing with them a little.

"Not all boys in my world can be mean, can they? I hope to meet nice ones."

"Of course not," Netto said, more than willing to encourage that line of thought. "You'll probably meet some that're really nice. I mean, you think Enzan's nice. There's lots of people nicer than him."

It was probably a good thing Enzan couldn't hear him right now.

Netto blinked and tilted her head, "Enzan is the first boy to really be nice to me. I mean, you're really nice of course," Netto giggled, "But I don't see you much. Enzan has done so many things for me. No one else has."

Netto resisted the urge to gag. "You said it yourself. Once you go to a new school, you'll meet new people. Then you'll see I'm right."

But that did answer a question for him. Netto-chan was dating Enzan because she didn't have anyone else to date.
