((Okay, I just found out that Netto does have a canon birthday - and it was yesterday (June 10th). *facepalm* So, here's the deal. I don't want to make a big Reality Vanish post so soon after Enzan's birthday, plus Netto has non-RV friends who may or may not feel like stopping by to wish him a happy birthday. Netto waved the bullhorn at Dark Rock, snickering. "Now that's what I call a 'surprise party'! Only I'm not the one being surprised!"

Dark Rock glared slightly, "If I was a human, I'm sure I would've had a heart attack." He sighed, and disappeared for a minute. When he appeared, he was holding a small package wrapped in navy blue paper. He held it out to Netto and mumbled, "Happy birthday, Netto-kun."

Netto took the gift beaming. "Thank you, Dark Rock!" Then, before he opened the present, he gave Dark Rock an abrupt hug. "You didn't have to do that." And I won't ask where you got it or how, either, he added through the link. If Dark Rock had left the Vanishing Court to get him a present, Netto certainly wasn't going to tell anyone.

Dark Rock shrugged, looking embarrassed, "It's nothing." He cuddled up to the link slightly. He had gone to the Emporium and used almost all his money to buy Netto a Dream Aura chip, and hoped he wouldn't get in trouble if found out.

"Ooooh. Dream Aura!" Netto grinned and returned the cuddling in full, both physically and mentally. "It's not nothing. It's the first birthday present I've ever gotten from you. That makes it extra special! Besides, it's a Dream Aura chip!"

Dark Rock grinned sheepishly, returning the cuddles. "I had some money left on me from before I came to Reality Vanish. Netto-kun deserves the best."

"You know..." Netto looked at Dark Rock in a way that could almost be described as mischievous. "You're my brother. My twin brother. That means today's your birthday, too!" Netto had presents for Dark Rock and Rockman, of course. Just because he hadn't given anyone else advanced warning didn't mean he hadn't come prepared. "Do you want your present now, or when we go back to our room?"

Dark Rock blinked. It hadn't occured to him, but Netto was right. "Um, now would be fine.."

Unlike Rockman's present, Dark Rock's present fit in Netto's pocket. He reached inside and pulled it out. The box was very small, easily able to rest on his palm, and it was covered with red wrapping paper. When Dark Rock opened it, he would find a clothing chip that could be modified to create a set of clothing in the style and colors of the owner's choice. Netto had had no luck getting Dark Rock out of his armor yet, but maybe if it was a battle chip instead of "real" clothing...

"Happy birthday, 'niisan," Netto said happily.

Dark Rock blushed slightly, mumbling a thank you under his breath. He opened the present and smiled, amused. "I guess this is a not-so-subtle way of telling me you want me out of armor, huh?"

"Since when have I ever been subtle?" Netto joked. "But yeah, I wanna see what you look like out of armor, and I figure this way, at least you're still using Navi stuff, right? It'd be easy for you to change back into your armor."

Dark Rock smiled, then activated the chip. He jumped slightly at the sensation of his armor changing. He looked down at himself, "Huh. This is...interesting."

Netto couldn't resist. He reached out to touch the spikes on the back of Dark Rock's neck. "Awesome... Your hair does the same thing in back that Rockman's does!" He grinned at Dark Rock then. "But it's a different color of black and the bangs are different."

"That's fine by me," Netto said. "I like knowing who I'm talking to. Imagine if I couldn't tell you apart at all! Boy, that could get embarrassing."
