I spent this past year living off-campus of my university with a couple of roommates, then last month we had a couple more friends move in. We were planning to have one of those sign the lease in place of the roommate who's moving to Chicago, but then he decided to move back to his parents', so now we haven't got a third roommate and are going to have to scatter at the end of the month. One of my roommates is planning to get his own place, but I and the two others who can't afford that are going to have to scramble to find somewhere to stay for August until we can move into college housing, which may be tricky :/
Owing to this, I'm going to have to take out another loan to cover my tuition and housing---I had to take spring semester off to save up and pay back what I owed for last fall semester, so I couldn't apply to the school for scholarship money for this year as you can only apply in January and I wasn't enrolled then, owing to the aforementioned problem. I may be able to get out of the ridiculously expensive meal plan, since I work for the cafeteria and so get free dinners every day I work anyway. But even if I do I'm going to be in the hole for more than I already was T.T I can't afford to take another semester off though---I won't have anywhere to live but dorms, and I'm already a year behind to graduate owing to having missed a crucial studio class last semester.
On the bright side, living on campus again means I'll be able to see my friends every day---I really missed them living off-campus. Not to mention that it'll be so much easier to get to class on time, lol.
Apart from this, my summer's going pretty well. It's funny, but even with my problems I'm still happy all the time for some reason lately. I just have this feeling like everything will work out somehow.
