The 4th Phase of EXILE and EXILE New Performers

May 01, 2014 20:35

This is a terribly late post concerning my role model/hero/fave dudes, EXILE.

On 27 April 2014, the New EXILE was born.
With HIRO moving backstage as producer and retired from his place as Performer at the end of 2013, EXILE hold an audition entitled EXILE Performer Battle Audition (PBA).
The 5 Performers chosen are:
Iwata Takanori (Sandaime J Soul Brothers)
Sato Taiki (Generations' support member)
Shirahama Alan (Generations)
Sekiguchi Mandy (Generations)
Yamamoto Sekai

Meaning, from that date onward EXILE is a 19 persons vocal and dance group with 1 producer, 2 vocalist, 2 vocalist+performer, and 14 performer.

It was kinda hard for me to grasp this new EXILE, my first reaction was like, "5 performers? seriously?? and again with double grouping system just like NAOTO and NAOKI in EXILE and 3JSB??".
I took some deep breath and kept it slow. I re-watched all PBA-related episodes and it is today when I finally accept the new EXILE. Looking back through the PBA journey and the final show at Budokan, I finally get it.
I think HIRO wants to re-generate EXILE hence the all young new performers. The youngsters will definitely bring new atmosphere into the group, full of youthful passion and young spirit. in case the senior original members decide to retire too one day, the group still has 5 younglings to fill in the spots.
The moment I saw the new EXILE performing EXILE Pride, I know HIRO has made the very right decision.

The 4 Phase of EXILE is now.
The 4 Phase of EXILE is the brand new EXILE with a lot better and brighter future.
And I will always stick to these amazing dudes as persistent as wine stain on a clothes LOL~~
Long live EXILE!!!
