This movie takes a crime and completely shows it in a different way. It strips a crime of emotion, motive, and focuses on something different. I have given this movie a lot of thought, but I can't find exactly the words to explain it. I would say... its like instead of reading a book or novel, its like reading poetry. (haha if that makes any sense) But anyway.... this film is truly fascinating! The music fits perfectly and give the film a little mix of mystery and pure innocence. Another thing that I found interesting was the lighting. If you watch closely you will realize that Kanata and Rin are given a sort of "glow" at times. Which simply adds to the atmosphere and their connection with death. personally I thought it represented their ability to investigate the "darkness" from the safety of the "light." (if that makes sense)
