Compliment
Pleasant Face. Today at rehearsal we had to do everything from the end of Benjamin Calypso to the end of Any Dream Will Do. Since Any dream will do was the last song, we had to be all smiles and somehow with a twinkle in our eyes. Mrs. Beard told us to have pleasant faces throughout the song, so I did. I was just grinning and I think I did have a twinkle in my eyes. Mrs. Beard complimented me on that, and when we were done with the song...
"Anna was the only one who had a pleasant face throughout the whole song!" and then everyone in the cast turned to look at me and went, "show me the face!!!" And I was like, "Guuu..." and my face was like, o_o; I'm just surprised they knew who "Anna" was. Explains how small my part is. Guuu.
Did you hear that? After blocking "Pharoah Story" it was apparent that Claire, Ashley and I were to be backstage singers. Claire was a brother and therefore was used to being onstage a lot. Me being an ensemble singer, it's something I'm used to.
"I feel so unseen." Claire said.
"Yeh.." I said, glancing over to the microphone hanging over us. I reached out and turned it off.
Claire's eyes widened. o.o;
I didn't know the mic was on. I wonder if Mrs. Beard heard it.
