OH MY GOD!
So, I just got back from a Kansas concert. You know, Kansas, of the whole CARRY ON MY WAYWARD SOO~OOON fame. It was pretty much freaking awesome. Of course, they waited to play "Dust in the Wind" and "Carry on my Wayward Son" until the encore, but that was to be expected, I guess.
Either way, it was awesome. I may even put videos up on Facebook, if they're of any decent quality.
They were playing at Elizabeth's church festival fundraiser thing, believe it or not. Someone had connections, I assume. She brought me, Bridget and a couple of seminarians, Giannone and a kid named David I hadn't met before. I was accosted by the same drunk creepy old man, like, six times. He was creepy. And drunk. And kept dancing and it was kind of like, "Um, no," but Giannone and David were pretty much ready to kick his ass. Woot. Seminarians are awesome.
And now, all I have to look forward to tomorrow (or today, really) is lots and lots and lots of reading. Dammit. I could have done it today but... eh. Didn't want to. Screw that.
