So, if I haven't already mentioned it, I'm back home this weekend. I don't think I have. Anyhoo, half of it is because why not, it's a three-day weekend, while the other half is ONE ACT! But I'll get to that later. I took my math final on Thursday, and pretty much kicked ass. I hope so, anyway, because I got a 26/41 on my last test, so... a good, solid A would be much appreciated.

My grandma's in the hospital again, for some kidney thing. It's complicated, and I don't want to go into it too detailed, but it sucks. Thursday night I was absolutely terrified that she was going to die, and now the surgery she'll be getting next week will actually be adding to her life, but she's not exactly cooperating, and that's not a good feeling either. It's really starting to remind me of everything we had to go through with my other grandma, with the nursing home and the dementia and the fear whenever I got a note from the office it was actually going to be a phone call from my mom telling me my grandma had died.

But it's not that bad. Yet.

Anyway, I hung out with Dora yesterday, and that was supremely awesome, and we probably drove around for over an hour just because we could. That's what happens when you live in a small town. There is so little to do that cruising becomes your only form of entertainment.

Mitch came over last night, and that was hilarious. It was supposed to be pizza-and-a-movie, but ended up as pizza-and-let's-look-at-hilarious-things-on-the-internet. Wah-hey.

One Act competition was this morning! I was all excited. Unfortunately, my dear high school friends got alternate instead of first or second, so they won't be going on, but they did absolutely awesome and I am proud of them and I love them all to death. They did this weird play called "Fables" that was odd, but good. And their makeup was kind of scary. Clown faces. Eee. But Dan gave me a nice, big smooch on the cheek afterwards, so now there's these big red lips on my cheek. I kinda like it. I think I'm going to keep it on for a while.

Going to Dreamgirls tonight, woo! It better be as good as everyone says it is.

home, friends, one act
