I feel very content right now. Just one of those things.
On a completely different note, I learned tonight that my great-aunt Agnes passed away this morning. Wonderfully, I learned this about two minutes before I had to leave for class from my mom's cousin's husband Peter. I called mom about it afterwards, and apparently she didn't even hear about it, which I thought was odd since it was her aunt and all. That was probably the worst, since I didn't want to actually have to tell my mom that my aunt died. Anyway, it's sad, but good at the same time. She was starting to deteriorate pretty badly, but she's in a better place now.
For as long as I could remember, Agnes was just part of a pair: Francis and Agnes. Francis, who of course, was my great-uncle, died when I was probably nine or ten--I just barely remember the funeral. I do remember the ride back, though. My brothers, who were in their late teens or early twenties, and I started asking my mom why Francis and Agnes never had any kids. My mom turns around and is basically like, "WHAT?! What are you even talking about? Francis and Agnes are brother and sister."
We never knew. Hahaha. Good times. It's just so easy to assume they're married, I guess, since they did have the same last name, and they lived together... well... why not?
Anyway, I was kind of feeling down all day for one reason or another, and that, of course, was a nice little cherry on top of all that, but then I actually had to go to class, which was pure torture. I hate math, after all, and I had neglected to eat dinner before class so I was pretty much STARVING. I got back about eight and knocked on Elizabeth's door and was all, "I NEED COMFORT FOOD I'M ORDERING A PIZZA." Which Ie did. It turned into super-girl's night then, because Bridget stopped on by and we invited Sarah over and we all had a happy-fun night watching Garden State and venting about death and boys and family and all that fun stuff.
We're in the process of trying to get Bridget to move in with Sarah for spring semester, because Anna's currently moving out in about a week and Sarah actually doesn't have a set roommate yet or anything. Bridget, meanwhile, is living on South Campus, which is very nice and cozy, but also fifteen minutes away from just about EVERYTHING. I really hope they work something out, because I would absolutely love for them to room together. If tonight was any indication, having the four of us so accessible to each other would be awesome fun. We were standing outside of Sarah's room talking about it. And then Elizabeth is like, "OH OH OH AND WHEN I'M DONE BEING AN RA NEXT YEAR WE CAN MOVE INTO THE APARTMENTS TOGETHER AND... AND..." So now I'm all excited. It's a happy night. :D
