All right, so, since... about the beginning of time, people have been raving to me about just how freaking awesome and addictive Guitar Hero is.
THEY ARE SO RIGHT. A bunch of us went to Mike's last night and I played it for the first time and OMG, so fun. And I don't usually like playing video games. But it totally won at life, and I am so stealing CJ's when he comes back to St. Thomas at the end of January. I think I'll harass the filthy Arizonan right now, actually.
We also watched some MST3K last night, specifically Hobgoblins, and even opened up Beerfest for a while. Mike has been scoring a buttload of free movies and TV shows and stuff off The Hub, which is the U of M's digital sharing media thingy service or whatever. Basically, if I ever say that I'm going to transfer to the U, it's because I want to use it. Mike pretty much has every episode of MST3K ever made, as well as a buttload of movies like Borat, Talladega Nights, whatever the fuck he wants to download, etc.... It's freaking sweet.
I went to the casino last night to meet up with Mike and Jimmy and Mitch! I gambled nothing. But I didn't lose any money! Mitch and Mike kept trying to convince me to stick a dollar in the Sea Monkeys slot machine, but I refused.
"But look at the little sea monkeys!" said Mitch. "They're so adorable. You can't lose!"
