Apparently, I'm cranky and masculine.
We walked through "The Arches" this morning, which is apparently a little rite of passage for all us incoming freshman. And it wasn't that spectacular. There were people there to clap for us and all, but, y'know, yay.
I finally was able to do a Target run today, which was fun. I went with one of the girls across the hall, Melissa, and we went to eat at the Minneapolis campus because we both heard that they had spectacular food.
And holy shit, they did. It was pretty much fantastic.
We walked a few blocks to the Target then, and I picked up a bathrobe and FINALLY some milk and a few more essentials that I needed. And now I know where everything is, huzzah! It was fun. We came back and I talked to Erica a bit and took a nap and then later Melissa came over again and we watched Mean Girls. We went to a "floor social" tonight to and did some bastardized version of speed dating, which our RAs called "Speed Networking." It was okay, I guess. We had ice cream and got to meet our brother and sister floors... The girls of JPII and the guys of Ireland. But there weren't many cute ones. It was disappointing, considering that St. Thomas is supposed to be a "Barbie/Ken" school... meaning that we're all hot. AND WE ARE.
After the floor social a bunch of the girls from our floor and some from the neighboring floors came and we went and had an Apples to Apples party. AND I WON. For about the first time ever. I dunno, I just kicked ass. As usual.
Classes start tomorrow, starting with History, Phy Ed and French. Eep.
