Last night ended up being a whole hell of a lot more entertaining than it was supposed to be. I went in to take some pictures of the Legion baseball game for work, and then just as I was going home I spotted Molly and Colin walking around, waiting for Julia to get away from her meeting. So I totally pulled over and we sat and talked for about ever, and then Lee came by and he pulled up and we were like, "YEAH WE'RE SO COOL, STANDING HERE BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TALKING" and then Jon, Mike and Scoots even showed up for a little bit but they didn't get out of their car and were, as a result, less cool. But it was still awesome.
After Lee left, we got sick of people looking at us funny as they drove by, so we got in my car and drove up to REGAL HEIGHTS PARK, a park I never knew existed. We sat there doing basically nothing until Julia called, then went back to her house so we could play Trivial Pursuit. Which me and Molly lost. Alas. It was fun, though. It was, in essence, a going-away party for Colin because he's leaving like... Monday? for Washington state for some mission trip. And he doesn't get to come back for two years. Not at ALL. And he only gets to call home on Christmas and Mother's Day. Otherwise it's all letters and stuff. So that's sad, because I heart Colin. He's the coolest Mormon ever.
It was fun, though. I love spontaneous stuff like that. Good times.
Oh, and guess what? Hannah and I looked at the scores from the band competition on Wednesday and apparently, we were exactly .1 points away from tying with the band that got 3rd. And only two points away from the band that got second. Which is really kind of sad, because we REALLY fucked up and yet we were so close to winning. Huh.
