Wooo?
Off to the first marching band competition of the season, wooo. Not that I'm harboring any fantasies of taking home the gold or anything.
Because seriously. We're not that great. If we went as a concert band, sure. But as marching? God, no. Then there's totally the fact that we're gonna get our asses kicked by which is apparently the BEST MARCHING BAND IN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA that happened to make itself into our division this year. WAY TO GO, MINNESOTA STATE HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE. C'mon, though, even Mrs. Kasel was like, "Mmkay, yeah. Just don't worry about them. They're way above us and there is no way to possibly win. But, um, have fun?"
At least, that's what she was implying.
Good thing I'm not so competitive when it comes to marching.
