Can we have your LIVER?

Well, another last tonight: last dress rehearsal ever. Actually, it didn't go all that bad... a few major mistakes, like me forgetting the very important prop of that one soggy letter, and Girl!Jordan not being able to get there from work on time, and people were kind of dead, but it wasn't bad at all. Mrs. Velde said it was probably a 3 on a scale from 1 to 10, compared to most dress rehearsals, which she said were usually a -5. Works for me.

It kind of finally hit me tonight that this was my last musical when I was running my costume backstage after we were all done. I was walking through all the set pieces and just looking at the activity all around me, and it just... well, yeah, hit me. I mean, up until now I couldn't wait for the musical to be done, thanks to all the stress it's been. And, actually, I will be sort of relieved when it's done because I have enough to worry about without it, but it's not going to be as happy as I thought it was. I mean, the plays and musicals have been a gigantic part of my life for four whole years. I won't even go to another practice, ever again. There'll just be those two performances Friday and Saturday night and then... nothing. It's a weird feeling. Not entirely happy, not entirely sad, just weird.

Now that all the sentimental shit's out of the way, I would just like to say that DAMN, that fur coat I have to wear is HELLA hot, and Annette put white stuff in my hair and it just kind of made it look purple. Oh, well. Also, Tressa's just about the best person in the play. She plays Amy's mom and she's HYSTERICAL. She just does such a good job of it. It's great. We got some cute pictures, and I've just decided to upload some now.

Clay in his silver suit. It's pretty much hilarious. "Oh, baby! ... Oh, honey! ... Hug me! ... SUFFER!"

"ED SULLIVAN! ED SULLIVAN! WE'RE GONNA BE ON ED SULLIVAN!"

Jarrett's sort of blending in with the curtain. Ah, well. "It so happens I met on the way here a perfect secretary, a perfectly refined girl, only she's invisible because Jordan, unfortunately, couldn't get off work."

The Shriners wait for their seducing. Seriously. Only not really.

Yep. That's my cousin. In a dress. I'm very proud of him.

Otherwise, it was a very uneventful day. As usual. But nice. It was, as I predicted, a pretty crappy day at school... at least, it was in choir, but not overly awful. I guess I can't complain.
