Chap 6 Hikaru Depression



Today is Blue and Lan birthday; Hikaru and Byakuya go to fancy shop for bought her sisters’ presents. When their search a present, Byakuya poke her shoulder. Hikaru look at him. Byakuya sighed.

“Hika…I want to apologize to you…” He looked nervous, its first time Kuchiki Byakuya apologize to someone. Hikaru eyes were widened, she really surprise what she heard.

“What? Excuse me, but I hear Kuchiki a noble family apologizes to me?” She unbelief what her friend say. Byakuya sighed heavily, his cheeks little blushed.

“I said, I’M SORRY…” He said with pressing at the words. She chuckled and stare Byakuya with softly gaze.

“It’s okay, moreover it’s my fault.” She continues searching for present. “I misunderstand with his cared to me...” She sighed, turn to Byakuya, and smile sadly. “I really regret, why I have this feeling...” Byakuya unbelief what’s she say. They leave the shop, bring two boxes. They headed for Hikaru apartment.

Byakuya respect with his friend, she’s not only kind and gorgeous, but she’s strong. Byakuya hug her shoulder. “Relax Hika…you still have me, Yuki, Blue and Lan…” He preceded Hikaru. She so happy, and smile brightly.

In other place

Itachi looks Hikaru hug her ‘fiancé’ arm, her face looks happy and her smile so adorable. Itachi fisted his hands and hit the wall beside him.

At Blue and Lan Birthday

“Happy Birthday Blue, Lan!!!” Everyone said when they blow the candles. They were so happy, their parents came, their sister came, and their friends came too. They were having fun today’s. Yuki walk to Hikaru side at balcony. Hikarus stare they’re garden, Yuki look at her with worried.

“Nee chan, why you didn’t join the party?” Yuki give Hikaru strawberry smooth. Hikaru smile and take it. She look the garden again, she drink it little. “Are it because Kaa San and Tou San?”

Hikaru flinched, she drink it all down. “May be… I won’t came but I know Blue and Lan definitely disappointed to me.” She turns back and looks at the ballroom. She sees atmosphere at the room so warm, she just can bitter smile. “Why you aren’t joining?”

“I won’t, Nee chan didn’t join too.” She mumbled. Hikaru chuckled, she rubbed her little sister head.

“But, you had born to replace my place.” She smiles softly. Yuki frowned, unbelief what her sister said. She hugged Hikaru tightly.

“I know that…I know, I’m just your replica…” Her voice hoarsely. She buried her face at Hikaru chest. Hikaru hugged her back.

“So, do it…Let me disappear from this damn life…” Yuki dig her nails at Hikaru back and grip her clothe.

“BUT!!! But, Nee chan always kind to me. Always regard me as like your real little sister, not replica or cloning…I love you Nee chan…I won’t you leave me…although you must killed me…” Hikaru pushed her, and slapped her cheek.

“Don’t ever say that!!” Yuki touch the cheek. She glared at Hikaru.

“Same for you! Don’t ever say that!!” Hikaru eyes widened, she smile. She give her pinkie finger to Yuki.

“Okay, we promised.” They link their pinkie. Yuki smile.

Flash back

“Okaa San!!!” Hikaru yelled. Yugi (her mother) search her. She chuckled. “On the tree!!” Hikaru sit on big bough, she smile happily. Yugi scream, Hikaru go down and come to near her mother. Yugi look at Hikaru dresses, it dirty, torn, and crumple.

She pulled Hikaru roughly. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! LOOK AT YOUR DRESSSES!!” Hikaru flinched, Yugi grab her upper arm so tightly. It makes Hikaru feel hurt.

“Go...gomen…Hika just want to play…” Hikaru scare with her mother. Yugi pinched Hikaru upper arm. “Kaa San, Itai!!” Hikaru cried.

“Did you know, how busy I was?! Don’t make my job messed!!! You should know how the attitude likes as Princess!!!” She pinched harder. Hikaru nodded, her tears fall causes the pain. Yugi leave her, she just can see her mother left away.

She buried her face on her knees, crying. The only one she can do now. Her thought just thing her parents didn’t love her, didn’t want her born, didn’t regard her as their child.

Yami (Hikaru father) only can see his child from far with sadness gaze and left.

“Okay, tomorrow. You should bring your parents, understand?!” The teacher tells her students. Hikaru only can look the paper. “Now, you can go home!!” The student run to out the class, Hikaru the last out.

“Motou chan...” Stop her step and look her teacher.

“Yes, Sensei?” The teacher stand with her knees, so she level with Hikaru. She touched Hikaru cheek, Hikaru flinched. The teacher startled, but then she smiled.

“Can you bring your parents tomorrow?” She asked softly. Hikaru look at the ground.

“I don’t know, Sensei. May be Otou San and Okaa San are busy. So they can’t come.” Her voice disappointed. She sighed. “I must go home now! Tsunade sensei waiting me, Bye bye Sensei!!!” Hikaru run leave her Teacher alone.

Hikaru walked alone, she sees her friends walked to home with their parents. She only can stare, and go home with sad feeling. She wiped off the tears with her back hand, and opens the door. “Tadaima…”

“Okaeri, Ojo Sama.” Valkrya smile. She bring Hikaru bag. “Ojo Sama, Tsunade Sama already arrived. She’s waiting you at backyard.”

Hikaru nodded. “Otou San and Okaa San at home?” Valkrya shook her head. “Oh, I see.” She go to backyard. She sees Tsunade enjoy her earl grey tea, she look at her.

“Hikaru, come here!!” Hikaru obeyed, she sat in front her teacher. Valkrya appear bring Lavender tea with cookies for Hikaru.

“Arigatou, Valkrya.” She knot smile. Valkrya bowed and leave them. Hikaru drink her tea and sighed.

“What’s wrong with you?” Tsunade look her student daydream. Hikaru flinched, she look her big breast teacher. Still silent just shake her head. “Really? It’s not ‘bout Parents Day at your school?”

Hikaru bitterly smile. “Although, I give the paper to them. I know, they wouldn’t come.” Tsunade silent. “For them, I didn’t important. I’m a child they didn’t desire.” Her bang cover her face.

Tsunade sympathy with her. She stroke hikaru head, softly. “Don’t say like that...” Hikaru still silent. “Now, my job is finish.” Tsunade said, Hikaru look up. She stare her teacher face. “Yes, I already teach you everything what I have. Now, you equal with me Hika.”

“But, you still want to visited me right?” Hikaru hopeful. Tsunade smile and nodded. Hikaru smile brightly.

Tsunade look Hikaru behind, Hikaru turn back. She sees her mother walked closed to their place. Tsunade stand and bowed. “Sensei.” Yugi nodded. She sits on Tsunade chair.

“Hikaru, tomorrow you must stay at uncle Zarc.” Hikaru eyes widened same as with Tsunade. “Don’t complaining. Just do it. You must make over your attitude. Don’t make me and your father shame because you understand?” Yugi said coldly. Hikaru look at her hands bit her lower lips.

“Yes, Kaa San…” Hikaru stand and go to her room. Tsunade look Hikaru enter house.

“Sensei, what isn’t far too much? Tomorrow at school has Parents day, you should come.”

Yugi stand. “It isn’t important; she must do something more important.” She left tsunade alone.

Hikaru prepare everything for stay at uncle Zarc, she do it with feel sad. It doesn’t mean, she won’t stay at her uncle from her mother side. Uncle Zarc was very kind; he’s humorist, handsome, and patience. He’s the third person who’s Hikaru like. But she sad because her mother won’t come to her school program.

Next day, like Hikaru mother said. She already to go to uncle Zarc house. Valkrya and Tsunade bring her to there. On the trip, Hikaru didn’t talk anything. She just looks down. Uncle Zarc house on different country with Hikaru house. So, the trip made three days to arrive. Hikaru sighed, she have lunch when they had arrived. She looks out the window many kids with their parents, their face so happy. Hikaru just stare that moment with dull eyes.

Valkrya and Tsunade look at each other and sighed. Tsunade tried to broke the uncomfortable situation. “Hika, did you know. Your uncle country is my hometown, Konohagakure, Fire country.” Hikaru look at her, interesting with the topic.

“Really? But, why you at Wind country?” Hikaru asked with enthusiasm. Tsunade chuckled.

“When, I passed my Jounin exam. I left Konoha to learn about medic, and I find the information that your mother is a great healer in the world.” Hikaru listening, her eyes showed her very enthusiasm. “But people said, she won’t have a student. I try to propose myself, but your mother really cold blood. She won’t promote me, although I’m first hokage granddaughter.”

“I know that. You very enthusiasm, and always come to castel.” Hikaru said. Tsunade smile.

“Yup, in konoha and my dictionary never had words ‘Give up’.” Hikaru eyes brightly.

“I want to live at Konohagakure!!” She said innocently. Valkrya shock.

“No, Ojo Sama. You can’t.” Valkrya worried. Hikaru stared her maid, Valkrya flinched. “Pardon me, but I think it isn’t good idea.” She bowed her head.

Hikaru look away with dulled eyes. “It’s okay. They never care about me.” The situation becomes silent. Hikaru spoke again. “Well, I decided. I live at Konoha.” Valkrya want to protest, but Hikaru glare at her. “I don’t care about them.”

Tsunade just sigh, Hikaru get up and left the restaurant. She stopped her step and look at Valkrya. “Don’t forget paid the lunch and about that I’ll bring Blue and Lan come with me.” Valkrya jaw droop into floor, Tsunade laughed loudly. Hikaru continue her step.

Valkrya cover her face with her hand and shook her head. “Oh God...what should I tell it to the King and Queen…” Valkrya mumble, Tsunade touch her shoulder.

“Ehem, huff…relax, she will be okay.” Valkrya paid the lunch.

She sighed. “I hope so...”

They left the restaurant and sees Hikaru with someone guy. Hikaru hugged him happily. Tsunade want to approach, but Valkrya stopped her. Tsunade look at her.

“It’s okay. He is Hikaru uncle. Thomas Rain Silver.” Valkrya tidied up her maid clothe and approached them. She bowed. “Master Thomas.”

The silver black hair looks at her. “Hai, Valkrya. Long time no see.” He carry Hikaru, she buried her face at Thomas shoulder and her hands around his neck.

“Yes, master.” She looks Hikaru so happy when Thomas comes. She smiles.

“Hika, why are you here? Are you not going to school?” He said innocently. Hikaru silent and hugged Thomas tighter. Thomas looks at Valkrya, her expression sadly.

“Uncle put me down.” Hikaru whisper. Thomas put her down, she run approached Tsunade. She brings her teacher to Thomas. “Uncle Thomas, she is my Sensei Tsunade.” Tsunade bowed.

“Nice to meet you Thomas Sama.” Thomas look at her clearly.

“Ah, you’re Yugi student right?” Tsunade nodded. “Nice to meet you too.” He looks Hikaru. She look souvenir at some stand. “Tsunade san, why Hikaru not go to school?”

Tsunade flinched, she look the ground. “Umm...it’s…because…”

“Okaa San send me to Uncle Zarc.” Hikaru answer it, her face emotionless. Thomas raises his brow.

“What?” He asked once again to check what’s lie or not.

“Yup, Hika never lies to Uncle Thomas right?” She play with her water element. She just fake smile. She made a statue from ice, it was a girl who curled into ball and buried her face on her knees.

Tsunade and Valkrya know what Hikaru mean. Hikaru look the statue, she throw down it. It shattered in pieces, she grin psychotic. Thomas hugged her, Hikaru eyes were widened. “Hika, gomen for Yugi… She just over focus to her job...”

She smile bitterly. “Yeah…and always say ‘I hope she never born, she just make us shame’.” Thomas shock.

“What? Yugi say that to you?” Hikaru shake her head.

“She said that when I sleep on her bed room. She says that to Otou San.” She walk left them. “Sah, Konoha will be waiting us!”

“Master, where you want to go?” Valkrya bowed.

“Ah, same with you...to Konohagakure…” Valkrya nodded. They continues their journey.

‘Yugi what’s your thinking?’ Thomas asked in his mind.

“Are you really wanted to enter her to final class?” Tsunade asked her teacher, Sandaime. The old man smile.

“Yeah, she has talent and skill.”

At academic

“Everyone listen!!! Today we have new student!” the Teacher said in front the class, all student stare her. “Sah, come in.”

Hikaru enter the room and stand beside the teacher. She bowed to all students. “I’m Motou Hikaru, nice to meet you.”

Everybody startled. Some boy raises his hand. The teacher let him speak.

“How old are you?” his cheeks little blushed.

“May be 9 year younger from you all.” She smiles. Everybody startled and stare with unbelief gaze.

“Are you kidding?! You should on kindergarten!!” Some student ignores her existent. Hikaru put her finger on her lips, her eyes innocently, and tilted her head.

“You so rude. Did you parents teaching you manners?” Hikaru said innocently. The boy flinched.

“Wha…what you say?”

“I said you-so-rude. Are you deaf?” She’s voice become sarcastic. The boy jump and try to punch her. Hikaru closed her eyes and wait the damage. But, it didn’t come. She open her eyes slowly, her eyes were widened. She sees a boy with black long hair, protected her. He grabs the boy fist. Hikaru felt happy, it the first time someone protect her.

“Are you okay?” He look at her. He has beautiful eyes Hikaru though. She little blushed on her cheeks.

She looks down. “Ah, hai~. I’m fine.” The black hair boy look the boy in fronts him.

“You can take place at my side.” He points his table. Hikaru bowed.

“Arigatou Gozaimasu.” She sit where the boy point. He release his hold and back to his sit. Hikaru amazed with him, her eyes still look at him. ‘Hika!!! Hey, conscious yourself!!! He isn’t immortal!!’ Hikaru shocked, that was Celes voice in her inner realm. ‘I knew it. Just shut your mouth.’ Hikaru gritted her teeth.

“Okay, you must get detention. After class you must go to my office!” The boy jaws drop. “Back to your seat!”

“Thank you for help me.” Hikaru said when the class over. Now, she at front gate. He just smiles.

“It’s okay.” He started to left, instantly Hikaru hand grab his clothe. He turns and sees her. “What’s wrong?”

“Ah, oh, that…uhm...it’s...” Hikaru look nervously. He smile, and stroke her hair. Hikaru eyes widened, she startled.

“What you want to say?” The boy brow raise little. Hikaru panic.

She looks the ground. “Can…can I know your name?” She cheeks blushed.

‘Cute little girl.’ He though. “I’m Uchiha Itachi, 2 years older than you.” He smiled. “Nice to meet you, Motou.”

Hikaru flinched, she bitter smile. “Can you call me with my first name?” Itachi confused. “Ah, it’s okay if you won’t.” Hikaru sighed heavily. She smile forcefully and left him. “Ja ne, Uchiha!!” She waved her hand and passed away.

PLAK!!!

“You are demon!! Why Zarc let you stay at my house?!” Aunt Anzu yelled in front Hikaru. She just can cupped her hot red spot on her cheek, the tears fall but she’s not whimpered.

Hikaru eyes were dulled, empty gaze, and emotionless expression. Anzu pulled Hikaru hair, her face and Hikaru face was a level. “You know why your mother sends you to here?” Hikaru expression not changes. Anzu whispered. “Because she hates you so much. Because you are demon!! You know that!!” She throws Hikaru cross the room, and left.

Hikaru raise slowly, she flinched. She gritted her teeth, her back really hurt. She wiped her tears, and healed her back with herself. “You know why your mother sends you to here? Because she hate you so much. Because you are demon!! You know that!” Hikaru remember what her aunt words. She covers her face with her hand and chuckled humorless.

“Huh, I knew that….nobody want me to born…”
