In the end 2 of the 8 were already qualified and so the top 10 were permitted to go. I was rank 12. I missed it with two sorry ranks. I pretend that it doesn't anger me and that I await with joy my ( Read more... )

Aww, sorry you didn't come in among the 10 best. #12 is really annoying in this case :-/

Anyway, sounds like your Halloween wasn't all that bad. ;)

It's a trading card game called Yugioh (really Yuugiou = King of Games). There is an anime with the same name, a boy called Yugi plays a card game on tournament level and gets an old egyptian artifact from his grandfather. In this artifact the ghost of a 5,000 year old pharaoh is trapped and Yugi frees him and becomes one with him, they share the same body from then on. At the same time he finds out that the ancient Egypts played a similar game to his card game called "game of shadows", they summoned monsters not as cards but as real creatures and let them fight against each other. To controll the monsters they had the "Millenium Artifacts", one of them is Yugi's "Millenium Puzzle". The "Millenium Ring" is inhabited by an old evil tomb raider who wants to destroy the pharaoh and wants to own all the other artifacts to gain more powers. Yugi and his friends have to fight various villains by playing games of shadows with the cards ( ... )

heheh. i don't mind at all :)

i've actually heard of Yugioh, but i've never seen it played. i've seen clips of the Anime, but never actually watched it either. it's cool that there are actually weekly tournaments!
