「ビューティフルレイン」Final Review

I started to watch this drama beacause of Mana chan. She's not a really great super actress, but she's a child, and as a child she's really good I think. That's why I enjoy to follow her carrer and work from time to time ^^ (when I'm not busy with arashi XD).
I think this drama is really cute, it talks about a particular situation of a lonely father with an incurable disease, but it's delicate, not tragic or extremely sad (except for the last episode, but not the final scenes XD).

I admit i hated mana's character at the beginning. What's with that attitude? You father is ill, you know, and still you complain about his problems and get angry with him?
Ok Miu is a child but... this kind of behaviour in Italy would be inacceptable! O_O I'm not surprised to see it in a japanese movie.
But I also have to say that I liked A LOT the way Miu suddently grows after hearing her father hillness is uncurable. The character totally change and I liked the way she did it, progressive but decisive.
The unespected, in this drama, was him: Toyokawa Etsushi.
Maybe some of you remember his name 'cause he's going to be in Platina Data with Arashi's Ninomiya Kazunari. Well, I've started to watch this drama before knowing about it and now I can say I can't wait to see that movie because of Nino and Toyokawa too.
He did a GREAT job with his character: Kinoshita Kei. I liked his facial expressions, intense and real, and his incredible voice: is warm, deep and soft. Good fot a father character, that's why I can't wait to see him in a totally different role.
Kinoshita Kei has to take very difficult decisions, for him self, for his young daughter, who's so precious to him. Alzhaimer is an incurable disease, I know he won't be cured, but I'm happy that in the end he can find a way to make everyone happy and to be happy himself too.
The relationship between Kei and Miu is beautiful and sometimes you don't know if it's the adult who need the child or the child who need the adult.

What else?
I COMPLETELY ENTIRELY LOVED THE SOUNDTRACK!
It was impossible to download it anywhere so I had to buy it: it's so beautiful that I have to have it! There's no words to describe it, if you want a taste of it, just search for the sountrack on amazon and listen to the previews amazon gave you ^^ or watch the drama!!
I liked the title's graphic (this image up there).
I have to say a few words about Takagi Serai, who was the little funny friend of Miu, and Miura Shohei, who plays the youngest Kei's co-worker. Both of them had a small part in this drama (Takagi more than Miura) but heir character just can't be forgotten. The child expression were so funny!! I loved him, he portrayed a cute side-character but he did a great job. Miura Shohei... well, actually I like him a lot XD he's so cool *_* but he's one of the few young actors who are extremely cool AND taleted. He's young, he still have to experience a lot, but I think that from his actual skills we can figure out he will be greater in the future.

This time I don't have a favourite scene ^^;
But I can say that this one was touching and funny at the same time (last episode, since Kei will be probably start to forget about his family in 5 years he asked Miu to play as if they're on her wedding day XD)

Final vote 8/10
