back from spain

I'm back!! *O*
Three days of Madrid, three wonderfull days!
I spent only 70€ for the flight and 26€ for 2 night at the hostel, quite cheap ね?
Here what happened!

22nd November
I woke up at 4 o'clock in the morning. Incredible: 4 o'clock actually exist O.o I didn't know before last Monday XD
I took a shower and had breakfast. I was ready to leave at 10 to 5. The first bus was at 4.48 and the next one at 5.08. Actually the first never came (don't trust italian public transport!) so I took the second one and arrived at the train station in 20 minutes while usually it takes me 40 to get there! Good thing there's not traffic at 5 o'clock in the morning XD ahahah!!
I was really nervous 'cause it was the first time I took an airplane all alone: there was always someone with me! But everything went right. I got to take the special bus for the airport and the airplane without problems. I was angry I had to leave at home my lovely pineapple juice since I coudn't carry fluids in the bag ò.ò it was sad to eat sandwiches without something to drink! T^T
By the way, at the airport I just had to follow a group of spanish girl to find the metro entrance *_* ahahahah!! How clever XD
It was really simple: buy a 10 journeys' ticket, take 3 different lines, usea a google map from the station to the hostel. I arrived safe and sound! Even though Madrid is the Span capital it's not a big city. That's why I fall in love with it the first time: is a man-sized town (which is wonderful for somelike me who is cutomed to Milano that actually is a car-sized town), with a big, clean, comfortable and cheap public transport and with citizens kind and friendly. I found a good number of foreign people around the center and there're  lot of services for tourist (spanish and not).
Back to the hoste, the girl in the entrance talked with me in english but I couldn't understand a word O_O and actally I found out it wasn't just her problem, but many spanish have an horrible english accent (just like many italians, yay! ^^Y). When I said to her I can understand and speak spanish, everything was clear.
At 15 I had done the check in, prepared the bag with camera, maps an other things and I was ready to meet my friend. I went to Madrid 'cause my japanese friend invited me. He went there to see the city since some spanish friends of him were in japan in October and they wanted to thank him by hosting him in return for some days. Since Italy and Spain are near he invited me too. I was so happy to see him that I could die without regrets in dad moment! ❤
Then I stopped to talk italian. Yeah, I spent the next 3 days speaking spanish all the time and japanese with my friend. The truth is that I didn't speak or listen to spanish for 6 years so I was really afraid I couldn't do it but... it was easier than i thought!!
The three of us visited Banco de Epaña, El Ayuntamiento de Madrid and Parque del Buen Retiro. In the evening my japanese friend invited all his spanish friend to have a birthday party for me XD Wooo... I was quite moved to receive a "Happy birthday" song in spanish!! Never happened before! But next time I want it in japanese ò.ò
There was no cake but we ate some bocadillos and then we entered in an Irish pub to leave only after 3 o 4 hours after XD we weren't drunk but a little bit too happy, yes.
Some photos of that day.

23rd November
It was a looong day!
We went to Paseo del Prado and Museo del Prado. I could see my favourite paint of Goya: El tres de mayo de 1808 en Madrid. I was sooo happy!! ✳_✳ I spent 5 minutes in front of it... I almost cryed! It's so beatifull and touching... T_T
Well, then we saw Fuente de Neptuno, Gran Via, Palacio Real de Madrid, Catedral de Santa María La Real de La Almudena and, last, an egyptian temple they transferred in Madrid many years ago XD
During the evening we were going to a bar to eat tapas and I could see also the football stadium! (Estadio Santiago Bernabéu) Quite similar to San Siro here, in Milano O.o are that screw-like-architecture so beautifull? I find it so horrible... o.o
I ate tapas for dinner *_* and we took a lot of photos again XD

24th November
My last day. We had seen almost everything in Madrid. Everything of what we were interested in, I mean. But we went to see a famous street that is like Ginza in Tokyo XD same impossible prices o_o same horrible taste. But I don't like shopping, so maybe I'm not the right person to judge.
At the end my japanese friend and the one who hosted him took me at the airport by car (uuuh *.* thank you guys!) and I had to say them farewell. To be more precise I hope to see him in Japan in 7 month or less (since I'll go back in June) but I don't know if I'll see the spanish guys so quickly.
The airplane left 30 min late, but miraculously we arrived on time. In the bus from the airport to the station I talked with an argentine girl seated next to me *-* When I was at home I was really worn out but so happy....!!!

It's like I've studied during this 3 days. I had to remember and use everything I know about spanish. One of the girls said that she had no problem to speak with me, for her I'm like a bilingual. I don't think it's like that: actually I have some problem with the most difficult verb tenses, and I cannot remember anything about the written spanish rules XD
On the other hand i think I improved my japanese. You see, for me and my friend those days where really tiring: none of us spoke their native language but for him it was more difficult than for me (italian and spanish are so similar that we can understand each other without too much problems also if we don't know the other's language) and he didn't studied spanish for 5 years like I did, so sometimes he couldn't understand or he was so tired that he felt the need to rest his brain and spoke to someone in his natural language. Who's the only one who could understand japanese? Me, off course. Sometimes I had to translate from spanish to japanese or I had to help his mind that wanted to rest and speak a language without problems.
Ok... written like that it sounds like I'm a genius and I don't have problems with japanese. It's not like that at all! XD I just had to translate simple phrases and we spoke about stupid things (weather, comparison between Madrid and Tokyo, i asked him something about his new job and so on), but the good point in it was that sometimes he started to speak japanese without warning me: "Hey, I'm going to speak jap now"; and trust me if I say that it's difficult to change you mind and thought in order to speak and comprehend a completely different language. But i could do it: off course I didn't understand all the words but surprisingly I understood the general meaning so that I was able to answer and laught with him.
I'm so proud of me!! *_* Also if I'm still a washout at speaking japanese XD
これからも頑張るよ!

Aaaaand.. that's all *.*
My chinese exam is the 9th of December -.- I didn't study anything, someone kill me please.
By the way, during Winter break I'll have to study for 3 exams (contemporary history -20/01- Chinese culture 2 -07/02- and Economic History -09/02)(hope that's a good translation of the subjects O.o), to attend a special course about linguistic help within education and I want to find a job too. I'll start one next year but I'm afraid it won't be enought so after the chinese exam I'll look for something like waitress or barmaid. In addiction I'm thinking of translating some fanfiction in english XD I'lls tart with the unique OC I've written but... I imagine it'l be difficult so... will someone help me reviewing my work as a native speaker of English? XD heeeeeelp °.°
