Movie Ideas

I'm thinking of making a movie, or at least a very low-budget one. I think I eventually want to make a screenplay for some that I know I wouldn't have the budget to make into a real movie.

Some of my ideas for a screenplay include so far:

1) A more in depth look at one of the most important moments of American History... The French and Indian War. The Last of the Mohicans did an excellent job of bringing this topic to my attention years ago, but nothing has been attempted since. For that matter, any topic in the entire American 17th century has not been attempted (unless you count the Patriot, which I considered half-assed).

2) WWII USAAF "Skip Bombers" in the Pacific Theater. I mentioned this to Alec awhile back, but not to anyone else really. My guilty pleasure (among many) was that I liked the action style of Pearl Harbor... despite its inaccuracies. What I wanted to pay tribute to was one of the most impressive and important instruments that the US brought to bear against the Japanese. For those of you don't know what I'm talking about, I encourage you to read about it here... http://www.kensmen.com/kenney.html

Anyways, that's jut what's on my mind right now. As far as short-term satisfaction, I'd put my money (all ten dollars of it) on some sort of collegiate drama. I'll have to work it out with my friends here at CWU.

BTW, I got my AA degree from EDCC Sunday. Finally! It was only 9 months late, courtesy of EDCC's brilliant staff, but its done. I'm not going to complain anymore.
