land of Mozart and music for the eyes (austria)

my my, i have to say, vienna has got to be the most awe-inspiring city i've been to thus far.
everything is mesmerizing, beauty everywhere. in the castles, churches, parks, universities, houses, , food, the people...
Schönbrunn really was the winner. you could just buy the tickets and spend an entire day there as theres sooo much to do and see! from the palace tour, to the Zoo, the Palm House, the maze, the Gloriette, the Orangery... its just endless.
also, Graz is such a little endearing town everyone should pass by when in Austria.
first of all, the famous Kunsthaus and The Murinsel are there
but for me, i LOVE the stairs that takes you up to the Clock Tower.
seeing it from afar, i got all excited and was all "golly we gotta climb that!"
halfway up i immediately regretted it. (did i mention weather was cold and rainy that day? and the stairs can be steep?)
but my companion and i soldiered on and when we got top, the view down just took our breath away! (and alittle breathlessness from the climbing)
it was well worth it:)
so alls well that ends well!
but now, its off to our first city in Italy! to see what magic in Venice awaits us.
