I have this job every Sunday where I work from 10:30 a.m. 'til I get home at 7:30 or 8. I don't get paid, instead I get a free half hour horseback riding lesson. Typically this lesson would cost me $30. I have been doing this job for almost two years. Now, the person who I was originally worked for is off on maternity leave and the person who replaced her I have never meet before, so suddenly I'm working for the owner of my barn, who, to put it mildly, is incredibly intimidating. I have worked for her in the past and I've always ended up getting so overly stressed out, because I'm not used to being humbled--which this woman is very good at--and I end up sick a lot. I have decided that I'm going to quit, but I don't know how to do so. I can't just stop showing up, because the kids need me, but I know that I'm not going to be able to do this any more and hold a normal paying job at the same time.
Any suggestions you people have would be much appreciated.
