i think school is the most amazing thing. especially collegiate schooling. it's simply impressive. i'm amazed that i, who has no real particular interest in the pursuit of anything within the field, am being taught by the most prestigious of that very field. i certainly hope that one day i can present the same opportunity to the people of my current stature and that one day people will look to me with the same gleam in their eyes that i currently occupy for these professors. the sheer ability to hold my attention longer than 20 seconds while talking about rocks should be applauded in the first place, much less to hold it for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. that's near deity.
