grandparents are the greatest
it's been some time since i last updated this thing. i'm just too lazy i guess. i just got to my grandparents house in Fordyce, Arkansas. it's a tiny town of 5,000 people. WHOA TINY! there is not much to do but sit on the computer or watch t.v. so i decided that i will spend a lot of this time i have reading a book called blue like jazz. me and amanda both have it so we made a deal that by the end of thanksgiving break we HAVE to be to at least page 150. i've started it and it's really good so it should not be a problem. monday and tuesday in school were not that great. monday i was super tired because i did not get enough sleep sunday night and i had to wake up at 6:30. then on top of being tired all day monday, i had to pull an all-nighter because on tuesday i had a presentation in one class and a massive test in the other. i say an all-nighter but i managed to get a small nap in from about 3:30 to 4:30am........same difference.
this weekend was great though. amanda came down on thursday afternoon and we went to olive garden with my dad and my sister and my sister's boyfriend. it was delicious. italian is my favorite.
friday my band, a fall for hope, played a show in memphis. we sold some cds and stuff so that's cool. the show was....well.....a show. our equipment was messing up. our bass player broke his strap off in the first song. not too long after that, our guitarist sprained his mcl in his knee, and then later on in another song, the strap was stripped off the substitute bass. haha. anyways. the songs were fine but the inbetween time was kinda hectic getting things fixed and what not. we are playiing again in memphis on dec. 9 and in birmingham, alabama on dec 17.
saturday we got up early and went to little rock, arkansas and saw the razorback football game. my grandpa gets
tickets for one game each year. it was me and amanda and my family along with my grandparents. we went to chilis and then me and amanda went to starbucks that was right across the street from our hotel....cool huh.
sunday we came back to jackson.....i did homework and stuff like that.....more fun......over all my weekend was really good though.
i think this is the longest journal i will ever post.......
