(no subject)
yesterday i roamed the streets of LA with Precious, Kier, and Andrew.
the whole time i was thinking, what an unlikely bunch of people to have an adventure with but i did, and it turned out to be sooo fun! i honestly had the best time i've had in the longest time. :]
Little Tokyo was our main destination, taking the bus all the way from West Covina. i normally despise taking the bus, but its not so bad when you're waiting with friends.
we talked so much about highschool and people and how much everyone/everything changed. the kids we went to school with are so-- haha wow... you just wouldn't think they'd do the things they do now. o___o times sure have changed.
i realized that some people grow up, and some people... can't make good decisions. :\ lol
we were so hungry by the time we got there so the first thing we did was EAT. we ate at a place called Sushi Teri. $7.90 for a bento. not bad.
it was also Kier's 19th birthday!
$5.90! sweet deal.
there were several stores selling japanese curios, anime figures, and other cute things. i was on the scout for the perfect Maneki Neko statue but i was always second guessing myself and ended up empty handed D: lol.
its easier to make a decision when youre not using your own money :P

we stopped for yogurt at Yogurtland, then explored futher into uncharted territory: the LA Toy District, which isn't as appealing as it sounds :|
it smelled like pee (and in fact we caught some guy peeing in the alley) aaaand there were several stores selling hookah stuff RIGHT NEXT to the toy stores. lol.
sketchiest place i've ever been.
so we left right away and came back to Little Tokyo, and eventually back to the bus stop to head for home.
... how?
we couldn't figure out where the bus stop was at first until we saw our bus pass by and chased after it XD we missed it anyway lol
i took a kazillion pictures of this but i think my teaser picture came out the best.
we walked the entire time and i was hardly even tired! amaaazing for a girl who hates walking. haha
