Man, it's been ages since I've made a fandom post.
Hmm, a few things worth mentioning:
1) I'm still not over this. Damnit, boys need to learn how to play nice! I can't bear to see poor Roger cry again, breaks my heart.
Nadal’s first thought when he had accepted the trophy was to reassure Federer that he believes the Swiss will match and then pass that historic marker before his career is out. “Rog, sorry for today,” said Nadal, turning to his friend with genuine compassion in his voice. “I really know how you feel right now. Remember that you are a great champion and you are one of the best in history and you will beat Pete Sampras’ 14 titles for sure.”
Federer mustered a weak smile and nodded his appreciation, but the pain was still there on his face. It wasn’t long before the tears began to roll again.

2) Speaking of fedal, I've made a few fanmixes lately. The Fed/Nadal one is up at http://8tracks.com/ (I heard about the site on the radio and now I'm sneakily promoting fandom there by uploading fanmixes... clever, eh?) already, but I'm still working on the graphics for the downloads post (for some reason I get stuck just staring at the pics I'm supposed to be working on, ugh). Oh, and I finally finished my long in the making Gin/Kira fanmix, so that one's up at 8tracks as well. I love that site. ♥
3) On a whim, I picked up the first few volumes of Akira from the library. A few days later, I went and got the rest as well because whoa, I didn't remember how good it is! Granted, the last time I read the series all the volumes hadn't even been published here, so I never finished reading it, and uh, it's been maybe ten years since then? I wonder what my teen!self thought while reading it? All I can remember is getting traumatized by the anime version (urgh exploding Tetsuo do not want), but nothing about the manga. Well. In any case, I loved it! It's simply awesome. ♥

4) This was completely unexpected, but I think I'm maybe a little bit soverymuch in love with Stephen Colbert. He makes me swoon.
