Isaac took a moment to try and turn himself back into a semi-cheerful guy just for this evening, before knocking on her door. He did feel somewhat excited to do this. He couldn't let the morning with Penny ruin that. Astrid surely wouldn't deserve his moodiness and he had always been good at hiding the way he was feeling so he would just do it one more time.

"Hello, Isaac," Astrid said warmly after she opened the door. "I'm really glad you could make it." She opened the door further, gesturing him in.

Isaac stepped in slowly to admire the place from the doorway as he passed her. "Wow," he said admiringly as he looked around the place. "This is amazing. I think this is how I'm gunna decorate my flat when I find one, minus the curtains and the large supply of candles you have here," he stated jokingly even though he was serious. He brushed a lock of hair back up to the top of his head then waltzed around the room, before turning back to Astrid and declaring, "I like it."

"I'm so glad you do," she expressed, releasing the door knob. "I hope you're hungry... I didn't use magic to cook..." which could be interpreted two ways. "However, if it is as terrible as the FIRST time I cooked, then well, I could always just," she twirled her finger in the air.

Once he finished exploring the apartment, Isaac turned to her with a small smile. "So," he said, "did you want to have dinner now or were we going to talk first?" He wasn't sure what she had planned as she was the one who had invited him over this time. It was all good to him, whether they ate dinner now or later. Talking was always nice especially with someone that you haven't spoken with in a long time. He was hungry though.

"I've really missed you," she blurted out, then clapped a hand over her mouth. She let it slide slowly down, and her hands clasped at her waist. Then, she sat down on the couch. "I'm sure that I can't say it enough, how sorry I am."
